Our operational process starts from the customer's idea and needs, through software programming and hardware design, to production and on-site implementation.
Our Services
Mechanical Design
Comprehensive mechanical design: CAD modeling, calculations and simulations, bill of materials preparation and executive materials preparation.
Process Automation
We implement advanced automation systems to optimize production. We collaborate with Unitronics to provide complete PLC solutions.
CE Marking
We offer CE marking consultancy according to the Machinery Directive, with preparation of technical files and Use and Maintenance Manuals.
Machine Control Panels
We follow the construction and wiring of machine control panels, for single applications or small plants
3D Printing and Prototyping
We are equipped with multi-filament 3D printers and collaborate with local companies for the creation of prototypes in carpentry and sheet metal.
We perform Reverse engineering of existing components, and product study aimed at series production.
Machine Design Flow

Case Study FLOWERMATIC
Machine for flower selection using Computer Vision system
Mecna Automazione has developed an innovative solution for automating the selection of cut flowers, based on a Computer Vision system:
  • Selection of 2000 flowers/hour through dual acquisition system
  • Collection of flowers in 8 different baskets, with filling notification system and automatic basket change
  • 21" touch interface for complete configuration of selection parameters
  • Cutting device to shorten oversized flowers
  • Machine divisible into two assemblies to facilitate movement
Case Study MPT - Pesto Production Machine
Machine for the production of Genoese Pesto through traditional pounding
The machine implements a traditional pounding production technology, different from the one currently in use at industrial level. The project born in 2022 from the client Pestop srl went through several phases:
  • Design and construction of 2 single-station prototypes for validation of pounding mechanisms
  • Definition of the multi-station architecture, carousel type on Hepco guides with 9 stations.
  • Mechanical and electrical design of the machine, built by Trucco Automazione Industriale
  • Construction of machine automation and programming of work cycles on Unitronics PLC.
